Slow day for me!

 

FYI - for that Frankline Muthomi hit a few days ago involving multiple rejections over the use of incorrect codes ("Answer a survey about your opinions in reallocating fiscal resources" ), I received a response from the Northern Illinois University IRB:

"Thank you for contacting our office. We have reviewed your request. The researcher provided information that demonstrated a need to reject your submission. We found the rationale acceptable and will not be requiring payment or acceptance of the survey. Our institution has no say or baring on MTurk regulations regarding ratings, you may wish to contact them about concerns with their rules.

We appreciate you taking the time to follow up on this matter. The researcher is working with the programs used to determine flaws in this survey and ensure more submissions are acceptable in the future."

I didn't do the original review for the hit so can't update it.
