Ya back in the day if you needed a new vacuum cleaner you just went to your nearest department store and pick out the one you liked. These days you gotta check out a bunch of reviews to find the best one.

 

just got back from having labs done, gonna go get a nice big cup of coffee with half and half. Dang it I should be on my 3rd or 4th cup by now. oooh and my keurig will be here Friday so I can go back to making my Kahlua hazelnut coffee. Husband has a neurotic fit if I use his coffee pot to make flavored coffee.

 

You only get 1 education qual I think. Did you graduate college? If so, yours is probably something like "US Bachelors Degree is EqualTo 1."

Spot on. I was obsessed with looking at reviews for anything I buy. But lately, I take them with a grain of salt because people rate things poorly for stupid reasons (especially when they don't read the descriptions or instructions).

Best thing to do too is look for that product on reddit. As well as (Enter item and model number here) - problem/broken/wont work/etc into google. You'll get all them results of the most common issues for that device.

Works especially well before buying televisions and other elctronics.

I remember when calling information to get someone's number was sort of 'stalkery' and now I know people's extended family, work history and blood type before a first date.

There is actually a theory that the overwhelming availability of information is why we're slipping backwards into an anti-enlightment. We can know so much that we've decided it's less stressful to not know anything at all.
