My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer and is hopefully having surgery on Tuesday. I made it back from Mexico yesterday and it was most definitely worth going. In all honesty, I had better treatment by the clinic in Mexico than the dentists I have been to locally. I'll need to go back in a few weeks to have my permanent crown put on but even with all the driving and gas, it is still much less than what it would cost in America. Totally worth it in my opinion. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience. Definitely recommend! @SolidWork

If anyone wants to have a dental work or a small surgery, you should check going to Turkey. Excellent (private) hospitals, smaller bills and $1 is more than 18 Turkish Liras. Also you would be able to see the beautiful city Istanbul.

I have heard of people traveling to Turkey for surgeries. I'm terrified of air travel but I would definitely consider that if it was ever needed in the future. Mexico was the most convenient place for my husband and I to travel to since it was only a 9 hour drive from home.

 

Driving through Houston was the worst part of the drive.
