    Totally forgot it was a holiday and was wondering why my MTurk and Prolific transfers hadn't hit my bank. Here in DC, they've changed the name from Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Either way, I always forget that today is a holiday every year. My first thought every year when I don't get my bank transfers is always, "Halloween isn't until the 31st and I know that ain't a holiday, so wtf?" Then, hitting Google and going "Oh, well that explains it. Forgot it again, like I've done every year for the past 20+ years."
