Any idea what is triggering all of you who have gotten suspended accounts? I haven't gotten that message (yet) so I am wondering if it's avoidable or inevitable.

 

I know. I'm seeing these messages and sitting here like

 

Are y'all getting suspended for avoiding the DAC7 tax questionnaire from last year? Too many PRE's over time? Multiple accounts?

 

I filled it out TWO TIMES because I try my best on mturk. it is the best job I have ever had and I will send jeff bezos flowers if that is socially acceptable if I can get my account back

 

I haven't used any scripts that request pages in years, so that's not it. I filled out the DAC when it was first emailed. Only ever had this Amazon account for at least a decade.

 

I'm trying to think how long I've had my account, maybe 15 years? and masters for most of that time. you know what, maybe we just need to reverify our id's because for all they know we could have been dead for over ten years. I might go fax them my verification they ask people for these days even though they haven't told me to.

 

I've been master since 2017. Be great if they emailed to communicate at all instead of just not being able to log in!

 

I might call my library to ask if they will let me fax for free because I don't want to spend any money I don't have to rn.

Hey all. I have been following the postings that people are having their accounts suspended. I am so sorry this is happening to you. It is unfair and unjust. We all have different beliefs around spiritual matters, but I am sending positive, supportive, loving energy in the way I understand. I am hoping for the best. I hope you get your accounts back soon! I called around for fax machine availability and cost and here is what I found - this might be able to be done online for free and without having to go somewhere to do it -

these costs are in colorado as of today -
public library $1.75 for page 1. $1.00 each page after 1st. must use credit or debit card.
office depot - $5.00 hold on debit or credit card and any unused from $5.00 is refunded to card. cost is $0.00 for first page and $1.81 for each page after 1st.

I think this is on them, not you. There is clearly an error in their system and they owe you all an apology. Maybe Turkopticon can help if you can't get through to MTurk, from what I understand their system is automated and run by AI.

 

I've been suspended as well, turker since just about the beginning, almost 1mil hits done, 141 rejections, masters, etc.

 

I was about to get to 1 million HITs too. 900,000 I think.
