    Thought I was ineligible for one on Prolific (the start button was disabled) ... took me a few seconds to figure out, it just needed a click on a box to accept a very short "privacy policy" statement, and then the start button worked.

    Demographics qualifications issued by Amazon from their Premium Qualifications can take a couple days. Most qualifications are issued by the requesters and can take anywhere from 5 minutes to a few days (assuming you passed their tests, screening, etc.).

    If you're talking qualifications you've REQUESTED, then never. Those will hang out on your requested tab for all eternity. 99.9% of those are tied to a HIT/test that needed to be caught and filled out. There has only ever been ONE requester that comes to mind that issued them upon request and they've been gone a while.

    If I understand, by "qualifications you've REQUESTED" you're obviously referring to the Request function in the MTurk UI.

    Some newcomers may get confused here, so let's clarify that you're not referring to the qualification tests found in Qualifeye. Submissions there might potentially have some hope of getting a qual. — Unless I'm wrong and if that isn't even true anymore.

    I usually do.

    I was never one of the "speed demons" who are so highly respected.

    Champions who come in at like 19 seconds completing a bubble-bath that I can't imagine properly reading and carefully considering in less than 90 seconds? — Awesome.
