Found a workaround for this forum's automatic wiki-linking.

Example 1:
I typed "dashboard" and, after submission, that word was auto-linked to the old wiki page about the MTurk dаshboard; but that's not the dаshboard I was talking about, so that wiki link was irrelevant to my context and could therefore cause confusion.

Example 2:
I typed "Google" and, after submission, that word was auto-linked to the old wiki article about Goоgle Endоr; but that's not what I was talking about, so that wiki link was irrelevant to my context and could therefore cause confusion.

Workaround:
I'll use Cyrillic characters to prevent the auto-linking. For example in "dаshboard" I'll either replace an "a" with the Cyrillic "а" or replace the "o" with Cyrillic "о", or in "Gоogle" I'll either replace an "o" with Cyrillic "о" or replace the "e" with Cyrillic "е". Just one character replacement is enough to differentiate the word, and prevent the auto-linking.

maybe if we finish that amazon batch, they will approve the hits. otherwise I think they might really sit in pending for seven days after we do each one.

having to scroll up and down is making my hourly really low. but when I zoom out, I can barely read the text questions. and I still have to scroll, just less scrolling. are there any other ways you are speeding these up?

 

I was but my son got in a big car accident. We're about to take him to Urgent Care right now.

 

oh wow I hope everything's okay! if it's like the bus accident I was in last year, he might end up at at least two different facilities to get X rays and/or whatever other imaging he might need to figure out what he needs. plus waiting for another type of radiology person to double check the imaging results. sending you hugs, patience, and coffee!

 

Thats sad to hear. My gf was in a bad car accident last year. Life is real. People need to be responsible and pay attention.

 

I moved the questions next to the pictures so I don't have to scroll. Zooming out is ok for the questions because they don't change. Zooming out on the pics is bad because I cant really see them well.
