are noah's up now? or were they up earlier today? I have been checking mturk off and on today and didn't see any.

 

does anyone know how long maze hits take to pay? like how long they stay in pending after submitting them?

 

Pro tip: you can find out when a requester last posted by checking their HITs section on turkerview.com. So, for example, for Noah Turk you would go to this link, then click on the HITs section at the top of the page, then on the blue "i" button next to the last HIT and then look at "Last seen":

Another pro tip: you can find out the average time it takes a requester to approve their HITs by going to their page on MTurk and looking at "Average payment review time". So for Maze, you would go to this link.

 

They were just a little bit ago, a small batch of 300ish.

 

Also, no idea what I just did but I got this error and now the turkerview.com website doesn't load for me at all:

 

I had been more or less rejected from Cloud Connect, but sometimes I would receive HITs and surveys from those sites. Does this usually happen in MTurk? Do people sometimes get Qualtrics surveys and similar types of surveys from places like Prolific and Cloud Connect?

 

What you're describing is known as "survey hallucinations" - a common side effect of turking for too long. One technique I found that works for me is when I start seeing surveys from other platforms come at me out of nowhere, I close my eyes and repeat to myself three times "Cloud Connect surveys aren't real, they can't hurt me", and then when I open my eyes again they are gone.
