I am not a fan of ForthRight's partner surveys. I never qualify for any of them, and it's a waste of my time.

 

Yes please steer clear of that trap. It's a gateway to a network of various truly annoying survey platforms. Rarely I've got a good one there, but most of the time it's a lot of long redundant screeners and disqualifications and closures, and sometimes an entire survey that ends without payment.

Eventually you can find one there that works, but how's the pay? My last completion there paid $0.60 after a voluminous bubble-bath, hundreds of questions probing every subtlety of my attitudes and preferences about a vast variety of international foods and flavors (many unknown to me) and it took me about a half hour or so (including time for "research" so that I could provide meaningful answers about the many international foods and flavorings that were unfamiliar to me). Living here in an expensive US city, I'm looking to take more than $0.60 for a half-hour grind.

The main surveys on Forthright tend to be OK.
From now on I'm avoiding the partner surveys.

"A study about environmental decisions" on Prolific:

Some studies fake a one-on-one or multi-participant interaction. Here it might be real, but the "pairing" step took over 10 minutes to respond (I guess it was simply waiting till another participant joined in and reached that step). So if you're on that study and it looks stuck for a few minutes, give it a few more if you're patient.
