07/30 - MTurk Transfers Solution Wednesday

In this case it seems that it didn't even try as the date is still showing as the 29th.

 

I came here to check if others were waiting on their transfers. I didn't know this has been going on since yesterday. Mine is due today, and it's well over $100. It had always seemed that when the amount was over $100, they transferred earlier in the day. The last time my balance was over $100 on transfer day was 6 days ago, and they started the transfer barely after midnight.

Remember when we had to initiate the transfers ourselves, and one day it wasn't working right? Amazon fixed it and some people got their money multiplied and Amazon said "Just keep it."

This gives me a bad feeling.

 

Amazon's Earning Report date is 7/31. At least that's what Google says. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

 

Why are things the way they are? Am I stupid? Is this real life? A fantasy? Is there no escape from this reality?

 

Oh man, we've now reached the phase where turkers start losing their mind and get all existential and shit. They better start fixing it over there at MTurk ASAP before it gets completely out of hand.

 

Maybe it's time for everyone to ring their phones off the hook, and screw up their automated system so they have to bring on a real person. No excuse for a company like this to not pay us on time. They should be embarrassed.

 

Specially after they forced us into an automated thing that pays us on their schedule.

I don't even open up mturk anymore I'm having existential dread dealing with tasks on Prolific the past couple weeks. It's driving me feral.

 

As most fixes that only affect workers, this will probably be resolved sometime tomorrow. The first day, the issue appears, and we don't say anything because against all logic, we still have hope. Second day, the problem is evident and more and more people are affected, so they finally realize that something is up, and then they take the rest of the day to figure out who is going to fix the problem. The third day is when they actually do something about it.

 

You need to take off that butt hat and put on your tin foil hat and join us in the madness.

 

Does a multi - trillion $ company care what affects us? I think raising hell might be more effective than waiting for them to care. At least we can still work this time, but we have bills due. The guy with the Linkedin account I posted was great last time. I don't have a Linkedin account, so I can't contact him. He did respond to folks right away before.

 

Yeah I don't think so. Unlike you crazies I'm a very well-adjusted person. All four of my therapists tell me that.

 

I saw a report that someone's transfer just started initiating a bit ago. One that should have gone through yesterday.

 

I hope so, Ill start my espresso machine as soon as I hear more reports.
