So this is a hoot. At least for me. I noticed an email in my spam folder stating that someone had responded to a message on a dating site that I haven't participated in, literally for 9 years. After resetting the password, I log onto my ancient dating site profile and discover that someone else has been using it for almost 2 years. My photo is up there for everyone to see, but is now associated with someone who speaks very broken English and is intent upon becoming someone's wife. Some of the messages were quite entertaining, but the whole thing is entirely disturbing. I mean, she (someone) was using my old account, my 10 year old photo, to find guys to scam best I can tell. My town isn't small, but it's not big either. I'm going to go buy some hair dye.
