Most of them today have been the bad ones

 

Just woke up. That requester from that decision making task I did yesterday for $4 that took an hour because it was so slow ended up sending me a bonus to make up for time lost because he didn't like the TO review I left. If only more requesters cared about their TO.


Anyway, did anything good drop today? It was so slow when I went to sleep.

 

That makes sense. I never really considered that it could be used as a concentration tool. That kind of shit works too - at my old work we had to go to meetings every now and then for boring corporate shit. We went to a conference hall and each table we sat at had a bunch of play doh and legos set up to play with while they spewed out their corporate bullshit at us. I thought it was weird as fuck, but it definitely made it a whole lot less shitty.

It's nice to hear about someone who actually uses them for their intended purpose and gets benefit from them. What irritates me is the marketing scheme going on. I fear it will cause them to become so popular, that they will be banned in schools (like so many things that can annoy teachers do).

 

They've already been getting banned in schools from what I hear.

 

I have no idea, but that would not surprise me.

I apologize. I don't have children so I can't say how that sort of gadget might be helpful to a child who has autism. My best girlfriend's son does have autism. He's almost 16 now and I've watched her struggle as she raised him. I mean really struggle. She has spent years, simply trying to keep him in the house, and teach him how to communicate. She's a really brave and courageous woman and I suspect that you are too.I have the utmost respect for everything that you are doing to keep your child safe and healthy. I apologize if the statement I made about adults was in any way offensive.
