    Are you sure about that? I have a separate Amazon account from my father and am listed as family under the prime section of his and have never seen any payment options that weren't associated with my account.

    maybe its a new thing because i just shared my mothers with my account and she didnt want to do it because it said this and it always tries to get me to send it to her , yup just double checked , wow i have like 5 peoples payment ifos in me account, it just shared her amazon store care with me though, the reason i have other peoples payments is because i know alot of people who dont know how to use the internet and im the local "computer guy"

    I just looked online. It looks like there's two different ways of sharing prime. "Customers who are guests of another membership aren't eligible for the following benefits unless they are eligible through their Amazon Household: membership sharing, Kindle Owners' Lending Library, Prime Video, Prime Music, and shopping discounts provided by Amazon Family such as 20% off diapers and 15% Baby Registry Completion discount. Customers who are guests of another membership aren't eligible for Prime photos."

    If you do it through the household you all share payment info, etc. But if you share via the family and friends section like I do with my father, I get less prime benefits being the recipient but we do not share payment info, etc unless it has been inputted into my account.

    interesting, because im not even supposed to be on it anymore cause im not trustworthy... ha... i might have to go the other route then!

    she just let me share so i could get my daughter some stuff and myself for christmas without paying shipping

    They don't have that program anymore for Prime. Now it is Prime Household and only one other adult and then 4 children. It also shares your payment methods with the other adult.
