I just caught it... I like these kind of HITs a lot but the pay is too low.

I’ll be sending out another, more thorough email in a short while, but in the meantime, please stop working on the HIT. The short answer is that the programmer made an error which dumped a few Turkers into the full pool of experiments instead of just ours. We’ll get back to you shortly about how to make sure you are paid, and perhaps paid extra if you have wasted a lot of time on this.

Well, now I'm just bitter. Not like I grew up around Belmont or anything.

I finished it, then emailed them about the timing difference. It took an hour

 

I'll keep it until it expires, but it sounds like this is the kind of thing that's going to take a while to sort out. Did you write to his institutional email? That's the one I got a reply from.
