some of that stuff is just unbearable, one time i came across a industrial band i like called "collide" on there and that was cool but beside that the only ones worth a damn are usually the instrumentals. the hip hop ones are the worse

 

Yeah the hip hop ones are terrible. Some of the folk/indie ones I've listened to have actually led me to find some new music, but yeah most of them are garbage. The country ones are almost as bad as the rap.

what are some good transcription hits for noobs....? want my masters but from what i understand you have to do some of all the types of task and i have done maybe 2 transcription task, any help would be great, thanks


Edit - also does anyone know if you still need a facebook for prolific? i have one but its barren, was getting too many message from creepy ex's so i took all my info off it and just use it for music groups and such.

I've never done any transcription. I think a lot of us who just got masters don't do them.

 

Seconded. But Transcribe Me or w/e is probably the best bet for folks just getting into it.

 

I think this is a bit of a fallacy, as I've done exactly two transcription tasks, and they were super easy. I feel like I got my masters because of my darn good approved/reject ratio (96000 app/11 rej).

Or because I'm awesome at the musics. Yeah, that's it.
