    Meh, don't really remember .. 20 years more or less. . . But I'm one of those master of non kinda guys. Play the guitar (electric and classic), bass, mandolin, alto sax, ocarina, and a learning a little portuguese guitar.

    Thing with Jazz is that it's a language. The modes and scales are your alphabet and until you have that down, you can't really have a conversation. And then you start putting it into practice and you sound like a little baby babble, and that's ok. Just gotta talk more until you learn that vocabulary.

    The good thing about Theory though is that it'll make you better in all instruments. You just have to make your "fingers learn" ;)
    And oh yeah... Ocarina is fun and easy to play. I play a bunch of Miazaki songs and zelda songs :p
