I didn't like the wording of this. Basically saying they withhold any payment until the second part is completed for no pay. Seems a little shady.

 

So are they saying they won't approve you until after two weeks and a second survey? what if you miss the email or something do they just reject it? seems weird.

Does anyone here have a suggestion for a TV service (streaming, satelite, cable, etc.). I have Directtv and since AT&T took over I have had 3 price hikes and now paying way too much. I want to be able to record tv shows/movies, have local channels, on demand movies, need Cartoon Network, CNN, no need for premium channels. Nothing too complicated, I'm old school, (just turned off my home phone yesterday). Any suggestions?

I don't know why people like/want DVR.. If you're going to watch something after the fact, just use primewire/torrent/exodus/youtube.

 

Well I did this year cause most of my family is gone and so many friends have passed on, too- slippers, socks and new boots

 

Sling.tv advertises that it doesn't have commercials and while this is true, you're still forced to look at nothing/loading screen while the commercials are playing on like regular TV's

 

Yeah I hate that, its like ESPN3. I use USTVNow for live TV because if I'm going to watch live I want the mindless commercial white noise. Everything else for me goes over Exodus

We're happy with the PS Vue service; slim package includes CNN and CN, all the Viacom stuff was recently axed (MTV, VH1, Nick, etc). I don't watch it much, though I have a DVR for my wrestling shows. The Lady Amanda™ LOVES it though, has all her reality programming (Discovery, TLC, ID, Dest Amer, etc). It's HD and has a cloud DVR (30 days). Works best on PS3/PS4/Fire TV, has semi-limited Android and iOS apps as well.

 

Exactly, I feel myself slowly going insane every time a TV show will just drop into an infinite void of nothingness and all you hear is beeps and boops for an indeterminate amount of time. I think that's what hell is like
