I've been meaning to PM you about my rejections & to get some clarification on what you consider "scripting" but uhh.. well at least that cleared up that part. I'm much less worried about some keybinds now haha.

How do you all feel about this idea: I create a campaign that pays you to dime-out script users (not keybinds, but autosubmit scripts). You provide a screenshot of the conversation in any forum or message showing the username of the person, and include a link to the forum. If it is a legit lead, I will bonus you $5.

I will pay you to rat out script users. This will speed up loads for everyone. It will make me happy.

autosubmit isn't a 'script'. we call that a fucking ash hole. just helping with terms here lol

seriously that shit's horribly offensive and you shouldn't just reject. you should block. seriously. that helps us out in the community.

to clarify you absolutely should block that account and note it's for hacking. amazon then is more likely to terminate that, which means all requesters gets better work because they're gone, which means we get better work because requesters are happy

tl;dr definitely block that. it's clear abuse and there's absolutely no reason for you to give them any leeway

on the other hand, @ChrisTurk was just trying to work with a broken HIT and you should reverse his rejections.

I believe there is a difference between using autokey keybinds to assist in the fluidity of one's work, and the use of an auto-submitted script that forgoes any user input into the task. I don't think this really applies to too many people. Just a few bad eggs ruining things for others.

Ohhhhh, trust me. It was a block. She told me I was incorrect, and (copypasta from convo) "I'm afraid that's not possible. It's impossible to submit over 1,000 HITs in a minute and I don't even know what a script is or what it would do."

 

Yea we aren't allowed to talk about autosubmit in any form. You might find someone on reddit though. Anyway it should be fairly obvious from the requester end based on speed and volume. I doubt anyone is using autosubmit to go the same speed they would without it
