3,600 is like the daily limit for HITs to be submitted in a day, right? If that limit hadn't been there, she would have likely done thousands more. I don't understand how someone expects that that won't be looked into lol

 

She maxed out her submissions for the day in one minute. Even if work wasn't moderated, which geos clearly are, who in their right mind would think they'd get away with that?

 

I'm fairly sure with that math that means the person has masters too which is just infuriating

I think by assignment he means an individual image vote.. IIRC that's what its called on the tomnod system when I've looked at it.

Still, that's an absurd # to get through in a minute. I've legit had a key stick down and run through all 50 votes in a PFA hit once.. but you couldn't do that beyond one HIT I don't think.

 

I honestly don't even know how that's possible. There's a lag between the pictures loading and the assignment anyway. Even with a script to go through and do that many, you'd be forced to wait for the server speed, wouldn't you?

 

Yeah Im a bit surprised someone is smart enough to script it that way but dumb enough to think they'd get away with it

Un_in was a cool dude and we chatted frequently, so I don't want to specifically throw him under the bus, but I think we all know that users who have had their mturk account banned have ultimately admitted to shenanigans or disappeared completely without any defense (which shouldn't lean towards guilt, but kinda does). I can't recall one case of someone losing their account completely unwarranted. I think someone had their accounts banned because they had a worker and req account? Which doesn't seem right, but rules is rules.

 

I wonder if it's one of the people who got suspended recently.

 

In other news, I want to learn how to make a key bind script for MTurk. You all know best practices... It will help me on both sides as I move forward. I say that, because I also turk my own work. (not often, and not many). I have earned enough dough to pay for a diffuser in my office to prevent my coworkers from smelling me after Taco Tuesday... Anyone wanna send anything my way, it'll be appreciated.
