The think grinding for 4~5 hours a day for their $20 of beer money is acceptable. Their logic is amazing. Every time I tell them they're better off just getting a job at Walmart I get flooded with downvotes even though it's true. At least you get an employee discount and benefits instead of slaving over the PC for 10 hours and $20 a day.

if you don't follow one of the forums, do so: both MTC and TH spoonfeed the lowest common denominator HITs between random .gifs and inane conversations daily.

 

I slave over my PC all day. But I also watch movies, tv shows, and play video games. I also do Prolific, aaaand User Testing!

 

I mostly just play video games and wait for actions in Fallen London until a good batch drops. Sometimes I'll do a survey. No idea how Reddit finds it so hard to make above $5 a day. If you put in effort(even the bare minimum) you can make more than that ezpz.

 

That's five or less dollar surveys. Maybe forty minutes of work if you are slow.

 

When I worked at walmart (years ago) I took home $350 every two weeks after taxes. I already make more turking lol. That's what's sad.

 

We're talking about Reddit, though. They think every task they do on mturk should take less than 10 minutes for like $5. They're lazy and they don't want to work hard(this doesn't just apply to Reddit, but y'know, that's what we're talking about here.) Just yesterday some guy was posting about how his "friend"s account is now useless because they got a couple of rejections and when told to do batch hits, they replied that they didn't want to "waste time with such meaningless tasks." Can't complain too much, though, if everyone on mturk could actually be efficient there'd be less work for us all.

 

My best week was just under $700. That's week.

I also found the bi-weekly take home pay both illuminating and depressing considering the dangerousness of the job and stress and all.

I need a compact mode for the forum.

 

I actually mainly do survey at the moment, but even I can manage to make over $20 at that...sometimes takes me longer than 4 or 5 hours though. I'm trying to learn more about which batches are good to do and getting better with scripts. I have done thousands of A9s. Those are pretty sweet, but infrequent. I hear people talking about other batches, but a lot of them seem hard to catch or the work takes a long time until you get the right script and get familiar with using it. Maybe I'm missing something.

 

I tend to use surveys for clearing my way closer to my daily goal, and if I can, I do all of the batches I can fit inside of me.

 

what are some good batches to work on lately. I used to do zoltars

 

Oh you know. Anything with Amazon Requester in it's name.

 

PE for this week is $275.56 if today goes like the rest of the week I'll defiantly hit $300 just from mturk. So time to Go crank up the coffee
