I'm very, very close to breaking out my old man dancing hips because this entire thread is pissing me off and I'm the reformed old man of the group.

 

It's all you, I'm part of the problem right now, not the solution.

Matt had a heart attack when he heard that, especially wondering who said that phrase to Forrest in the first place because he only ever repeats things he has heard before. Actually, Matt didn't realize what was going on with any of the Jenny plotline until we watched it together.

Lol, Peanutbutter and Mayo combined def made me gag a bit. I will say, the cilantro thing is a genetic thing! It affects like 5-14 percent of the population or something like that- it has to do with aldehydes. Basically, your brain keys into the specific smell that tricks you into thinking it's soap. Most people don't have that problem but some people do, so there's a legit reason for some people hating cilantro.I love scieeeence.

I just want to remind people that I was not alive in the 80s because someone here called me old yesterday and I'm feeling a little sensitive about my age with my birthday coming up in a month. Last year, Matt made the mistake of telling me I looked older than when he first met me (I was 18 when he first met me, so DUH) the week of my birthday and I cried. He tried to fix it by saying I don't look old, just more mature. I cried more.

 

Pretty integral part of the plot there... Sort of sets up her entire life lol

It's not the 'not liking' it's the stating specifically when others are discussing their happiness about liking it. This is sort of social skills 101 though so I don't want to lecture ya because I think you get it?
