Scratch that, this is the worst things have been in a long time. I should have been safe at work, but I found out the hard way I wasn't and I found out the hard way that it wasn't. Being 4'9" seems super cutesy and fun until a 6'3" guy is cornering you and nobody responds to your screams. Luckily, Matt was nearby and it could have gotten much worse for me. Unluckily, the ptsd I thought I had under control is now back and better than ever. I pretty much jump through the ceiling any time I hear a noise. Matt and I no longer work at the airport, he resigned, they wanted to push the entire incident under the rug so that people wouldn't think poorly of the airport or refuse to go to events in the future. I know I'll be fine again eventually, but right now everything feels pretty terrible all the time. Talking to victim advocates for the state, after working as onein the past no less, was not the highlight of my life. Having people look at me so sadly when they look at my file and see, oh yeah, she's been assaulted 5 years ago, was not great for me. So, I post pictures of my cat and raunchy jokes because the alternative is crying my eyes out all day and that would be a shitty way to live.

Now that I've typed all that bs out, here'a a picture of Bearnie, because it's been a rough month, and who doesn't like silly cat pics?

Sending all the love to you that things get easier as time passes. I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, but at least you have a super supportive partner to be by your side.

So, a big reason I moved to Colorado was to get away from a really toxic environment. I have PTSD and severe social anxiety. One of my biggest triggers is drug addiction, and unfortunately both of my parents abuse prescriptions (and then ended up using me as their errand girl when they were inevitably too tired to do anything around the house). It was a bad environment for my mental health, being triggered constantly, and getting away from there has already helped me immensely. My sister took me in and has been so kind to me... instead of me having to take care of the entire house, we split everything down the middle. I haven't had anyone who would cook me meals since my last boyfriend! It's been great so far and I hope it keeps getting better.
