My mom would always tell me I'd jump out of bed flat footed as hell and then just hit the "PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW FUCK YOU PEW PEW PEW PEW"

all mouth sounds of course and I'd shoot it out till she could wake me up and get me back in a bed.

S/He could get a very nice smartphone and a great data plan at Japan with less than $200.

 

I was gonna make this suggestion, when I travelled for work, I rented a cellphone from the airport/town when that was an option. It's super helpful.

Derp, I just made this comment without realizing you did already.

 

For reference, I've been shot 3 times been shot @ a handful of times. My brother and a lot of my friends have died because of this street shit.

10/10 would not recommend.

 

This happens to me on occasion, literally hit the floor running. I never find the way out, I always run into a wall or a closed door. Sucks when it happens but I'm usually giggling about it a few hours later. They think I'm 10/10 crazy town here too.

 

Whatever you're going through, I firmly believe it will get better for you. Stay strong, friend.

Will second @Hummingbirdee on this one--PTSD nightmares are a reason that I loathe sleeping (along with the fact it's so hard for me to relax that sleeping is rough without a little medicinal help). I hope things get a little bit better for you soon. I'm also a fellow sexual abuse survivor--let me know if you ever need anyone to talk to, my inbox is always open.

I have a strongly scented candle next to my bed since scent is one of the senses that can ground you. I usually snorf my candle and count the amount of pets in the bedroom to remind myself where I am, but occasionally I take off like a bird out of hell and Matt worried he will have to tackle me to avoid me running into the street.
