Spoiler: Here I go with my life update~

So my internship started at the perfect time. The exact weekend before I was in a horrible car accident. My car was totaled, I was badly cut up but I somehow came out unharmed other than that. I was a wreck over the car and was beating myself up really hard for a week or two. It just felt like things were going really well for me overall and having that happen made me feel like I was just some fuck-up who doesn’t ever get to enjoy happiness. So yeah… big depression/anxiety pitfall.

Luckily, I can walk to the office from my place, so that’s not a big issue. And I’ve busted my ass every day I’ve been at work. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on how I do things and honestly, having something to be so motivated over is the biggest thing to get me out of that funk with my car.

I’m still really upset about losing my car (which was a college graduation gift three years ago) and struggling to make any extra money I can on here early before my intern days and super late afterward so I can start shopping for a new car soon. My dad and I want to go on the trip we had planned for his mother before she passed (it was her bucket list trip we thought she could make before the cancer got worse there at the end), so the goal is to have a car again within a month so we can take this trip in August like originally planned.

I still don’t really know if they’re LOOKING to hire after my internship ends or not, but I’ve felt good about my chances since I’ve pouring my entire being into working. It’s the best thing I have going for me right now, as long as nothing fucks that up too. :/

Also, i appreciate everyone taking the time to share their own stuff. I really love this place, and it's helped me through a lot just having people to interact with daily when I otherwise would just be alone all day overthinking everything.
