So do the Child Speech Researchers reject? I took the test and passed but then when I did the actual HITs I got a message that my results were low quality and would be reviewed?!

Child speech hits remind me of myself. You can totally tell which kids are aware of their impediment and are trying super hard to overcompensate. I still remember elongating my r sound while looking at a picture of carrots because I did not want to be placed in speech therapy.

Other than today, it's been a few months since I've done them but I remember getting that message most of the time. I never had one rejected. It may possibly show that message based on how fast you go. I'll get high 90s on the test and then it says low quality results on the next part

I had some problems submitting that 'rating children's speech' hit yesterday. I emailed the requester and man, they bent over backwards to make sure I got paid. But I am not inspired to listen to 300 more recordings of children speaking. Am I a bad person? Don't answer that!
And Happy Old Year! ...it's almost over!

 

Child speech is on fire today. I was slow to actually figure out OW, but now that I took the time to watch all the tutorials, I really love it! Thank you @Ethraiel and all that helped contribute to it. Now, I just need to get a nice arsenal of requesters, which is slowly happening, and I will be golden.

 

Yeah I can't bring myself to do another one right now either especially until I see if they reject my 1st

Sending back a Group 12 Rate 'R' Sounds at 1:13 exactly. They keep promising I won't have to retake the qual portion but it just keeps showing up. Sorry no panda.

 

I could be wrong, but they have different batches under group IDs. I had to retake the test when it was under a different group ID, but all the ones under the same group ID seem to be - you only have to take it once.

I think.

 

I did all 5 yesterday and had to take the qual every time. Already did Group 11 today and the qual portion showed up again on the 12. No idea why.

 

Hard to focus on turking when my PS4 and Power Tower arrive today.
