What a bummer. I used to go to garage sales every single Friday with my dad. I really miss doing it and keep telling myself I will, but the last few weeks have rained and then I sulked my way out of the motivation to go once the weather cleared up. Garage sales in my city has turned into 99% baby clothes and mary kay vendors, but your area was always pretty good to scour.

 

I doubt there are many fans here, but today is the 25 year anniversary of the Meantime album by Helmet. Probably the best album from a band that inspired a huge chunk of the dropped tuning-riff driven metal of the 90's. Admittedly, their vocals were pretty raw, but their guitar work gets me every time, and they put on a hell of a live show, too.

On a slightly blander note, I google/research everything. Just my nature. I happened to grow up as Google was becoming a thing so I know how to do my Internet research & just don't tend to ask other people stuff. I used to get puzzled / annoyed when people just asked question after question on MTG, until I had that weird moment when I realized not everyone was a clone of me (try it guys, its awesome) and some folks actually saw a social outlet like a forum as a.. uhh.. conversation?
