    This is such a bad representation of Kickstarter. For starters, it's not just videogames. Secondly, it's not a scam when you support something by choice.

    I backed a game a year ago that was delay on top of delay, and launch was mess because their servers might as well have been piggybacking PFAs. But with every delay came more content (added a campaign instead of just multiplayer), a barrage of emails, updates, apologies, and refunds if requested. And they worked tirelessly around the clock to fix everything they possibly could, and handed out free content. To compare, I've seen mainstream developer games with just as many (or more) problems at launch, with less motivation put into fixing it. I wasn't bothered for one second at any of their issues because it's really easy to be compassionate when you realize that it's people following their dreams, supported by people who believe in them and want to see them succeed.

    Matt has technically banned me from buying any more maxi dresses this season, because they are always way way too long and I force him to hem them to the length I want like Cinderella. Luckily that website was a bit too hippy dippy/overly expensive for a designer I don't give two craps about. But, you've reminded me I do want another long flowy dress. I'll just tell him that you gave me the idea!
