    Had a task time out on me because of lag. What happens after that happens? Is it auto returned? I don't see it in my pendings already done.

    An expire is the same as returning it.

    TECHNICALLY they could block for it if they had your mturkID somehow but nobody does that.

    You can check "Your HIT Status" for completed HITs and "HITs Assigned To You" for the HITs in your queue.

    You go to Tim's, you get a "take 10" and the biggest box of Timbits your wallet can afford. The only way it could be better is if it was roll up the rim to win time...but you'll have to wait for that.
