    I went completely wireless. the entire set up is running on static electricity and green tea.

    Easiest thing to replace on the motherboard. Besides ram, maybe. In your case you just plug it in the slot and plug in a power cable.

    Yes, yes, that's exactly how it works. I have to be very careful not to touch anything metal. Also.. my hair never seems to stay put. :dunno:

    Apparently I gave 'too many wrong answers' on this survey that appears to be entirely subjective. Got locked out. Granted it was 24 ratings for 3 cents so I probably shouldn't have been doing them in the first place

    Doesn't matter how "easy" it is, someone can find a way to screw it up, often very creatively. Years ago, I got a frantic phone call from a friend. He had installed more ram in his computer. When he plugged it in, the circuit breaker (yes, for the house wiring) tripped. I was convinced it had to be a coincidence, but nope. When he reinstalled the case cover, he sliced the insulation on the wire running to the power switch. This was an AT case, so that wire was 120v, not the low voltage stuff used for the "power switch" in ATX cases.
