Yeah, we wouldn't want to settle down there for a lifetime or anything, it doesn't even have local schools really. But the job is super cool and he would get to travel a lot and do a lot of experimental plane design which he loves. I told him there's nothing wrong with taking a job that's fun for a couple years, but I have no idea what he will decide. I want him to be happy, so I'll put a smiling face on even if I kinda don't want him to take it. He hasn't enjoyed his job in awhile and I don't want him to take something that makes him miserable because the pay or location is better or whatever.

It's just crazy they called today and were like, "Yeah, but if you be here by the 10th and moved here by the end of the month. We'd prefer to be moved in by the 14th"

Yeah, cause it's that easy to find a house with like 10 days notice (barely), living across the country. There's not even any places we could easily rent for a couple months (with all the animals in tow) that won't cost us an arm and leg. So, ya know, hyperventilating and looking for houses in case he takes it.

Yeah, there's a nightmare chance I'll end up living with his MOTHER for awhile while we look for a house. I'm scanning through short term rental listings right now, trying not to freak myself out. At least with the relocation assistance, I can make other people move my crap. I mean, still have to drive 5 animals across the country and fly a plane out there. Yeah, no, I'm fine. Just wanted to give everyone a little health update. I go tomorrow for my blood test to see if I actually have lyme disease. I've been battling an ear infection for the past two weeks. Today, the ENT told me that I have myringitis - a blister on my ear drum. He tried to remove it by scraping my ear drum but he couldn't get an edge to peel it off. I just have to wait for it to fall off on its own, until then I will feel like I have a cotton ball stuffed in my ear. It's not really painful just super uncomfortable.
