Damn, they give you chairs in kindergarten now? When I was in kindergarten we had to sit on that little alphabet carpet.

 

I don't remember chairs either....maybe some benches that were toy boxes under the seat, but yeah I remember the floor fondly.

 

I remember having chairs but we also used the squares as well. It really depended on what was being taught at the time ect. For example cutting with safety scissors that can't even cut paper was done on the chairs for obvious reasons.

 

I had chairs and desks..... Needed them so we could do the 'duck and cover' thing.

 

This was also 2 years ago though so

 

oh right we also did duck and cover drills. I also remember bringing home my earthquake kit.

 

But being serious now...yeah I think even for us plastic chairs were invented by then and we had some of those

yeah I remember doing these but then I live like 11 miles from TMI

 

I can't remember ever doing duck and cover, but we did have tornado drills where everyone had to go sit out in the hallway on their knees with their butts in the air.

 

I remember having a super hot kindergarten teacher. Even at 5, I was well aware why all the dads were volunteering to help her! She had a sick jean jacket too.

 

I doubt @Jagdpanzer was doing duck and cover for earthquakes...
