I used to have two of these when I was a kid. Dear parents: Please don't let your kids own pets if you yourself aren't willing to help them learn how to take care of them. Actually, nvm, just don't let your kid have pets at all. Especially bids. Birds are filthy.

My mom got my nephew a cat because he really wanted a pet. Someone told her the cat might have worms and instead of taking it to the vet to get it tested, she just put the thing outside. So it's an outdoor cat now.
