I usually order all my stuff online ahead of time so Im not sure about the being present part. I think it depends on how anal the ticket taker is in my experience. Ive had to pull out my ID for some and others just scan the bardcode and let you walk on through.

 

You did the acapella singing in the park thingy? I was so jealous of those that were in CATS (our school's acapella group) because they always got a free day at the park! (and missed school to do it!).

Drop of Doom is nothing to plan a trip around. The climb to the top is so slow, and the drop is so fast, and the line is usually long, it just feels like a waste of time. Do it once to say you did it, and then go ride Medusa (sorry, Bizarro now) 15 times in a row because no one is ever on it!

Growing up I went to Great Adventure in New Jersey. Now, I hit up the Six Flags in Georgia every few years. I actually got knocked out cold on a coaster in Georgia and they've since upped the height requirment for that lol.

They did acapella and choir during singing in the park, I was in both groups and we usually won so I went every year lol. I was actually in a group called the Songbirds LOL. How's that for irony?

Matt can't understand why I'll do acrobatics in planes, ride roller coasters nonstop, but will not every sky dive again.

Like, HELLO, I like being secure in the safe plane, not hurling myself out of it.

The one in New Jersey has all the best coasters. They are almost always first to get whatever big, new thing they come up with too. They have like the tallest in the country now, they purposely built one to outdo Cedar Point lol.

 

The Goliath! That was a crazy one. I think that was my first big coaster.
