01/04 - Workout Wednesday!

to ascend or not to ascend, that is the question

 

I walk outside my room to see my brother failing at making pancakes... I told him to let me take over ffs but he didn't so I just walked back to my room.

I think I might just play some video games today again.. I don't feel like working..

 

3 hour timer. Make that kid a sandwich!

 

I'm warming him up sloppy joes. He just ate a banana, he will survive.

 

I read that as "He just made a banana" and I was very confused for a few seconds.

The kid has thumbs, he can make his own damn sammich.
My step son will never tell us when he's hungry. I have to remind him every night that when he is hungry tomorrow (as I work mornings now and am not home to make breakfast/lunch) to just make himself something to eat. He's 11. He knows how to work a microwave and a stove.

 

Eh he seems angry for some reason. I wonder if he just broke up with another gf.

Hopefully nobody realizes how much us birds like to start fires.

 

I got up to splash some water on my face to wake myself up a bit more..

My brother is on his second pan now for cooking pancakes... 10/10 cooking skills right there.

 

Mine is only 6, and he will never forget to eat. He is so stinking big, heightwise, it's ridiculous.

 

Ah. 6 is about the time when I realized I was short. Also when I repeatedly asked my dad why adults called me a latchkey kid. But, mostly the short thing!

 

I could make myself just about anything at that age.......mostly lived on chicken soup and 5 layer pb sammiches
Now, I did fall asleep once or twice w/ soup on the stove but I never burnt down the house

I didn't know kids like us had a term until well into college. It was the norm for us to have keys around our necks or on a keychain in elementry school and never thought anything of it.

 

You were about the same height at age 6 as you are now

Hey now! I kept growing till the 6th grade! Then everyone else kept getting taller and I stayed the same height. Luckily for me, other parts did not stop growing, if you know what I mean. The summer between 8th and 9th grade was a glorious one folks!

 

That reminds me of my friend's daughter. At the time she was ~3? His daughter was super tall so she looked much older and people though she was dumb until they realized how old she actually was.
