    Wooo passed that training grading hit. Anyone know if it's a set amount of hits to go through or is it closed qual work? Not sure I'd want to do too many of them. Some of those responses were PAINFUL to read. "Maybe it was her knew school and knew friends".... AHHHHHH

    a response i sent to a requester for being rejected for "completing it too fast":

    You are going to have a hard time on Mturk if you plan to time workers' responses in Qualtrics. I have seen most of these questions thousands of times; that is why I am able to fill it out so quickly. Also, the majority of workers don't click each bubble; we use tab>space to go through the questions. That also cuts down on time. I'm sure in pilot studies participants answer the questions one by one. Trust me, I was not trying to scam you. I honestly filled out each question. Also, I believe your survey was paying $2, and the estimated time was 20 minutes? That works out to $6/hr. As 'self-employed' workers, we pay a self-employment tax of 15% on everything we make. So after that you are essentially paying us $5.10/hr, and you can't expect someone to spend 20 minutes for that. Just some FYI of how Mturk works.
