I thought it was just me. I can't catch anything and the 2 things I caught either expired or had no link to do a survey. I have made more on prolific sadly today.

I only caught 2 JLos and Google's captcha service is still fucking with me. Image captchas were a mistake.

 

Rolling in here...I think I just finished that lesson from Codecademy. I'm going to start the longer JS lesson but wow, I guess I better expand my horizon so I don't miss stuff :/

 

The best way (imo) to learn how to make userscripts for mturk is to just reverse engineer scripts and use google + stackoverflow.

I think it is a matter of luck today. I woke up late today too but it didn't matter the other 3 days that I did that ..Oh well next week I will set a alarm for 3am (not really)

 

Yeah, and I started with jquery instead of pure js since it is easier to learn.

I would have never guessed. JQuery looks so intimidating every time I see it lol

 

I don't mind the word captchas, but the image captchas are honestly some of the worst I've seen. The ones where you get "click until there are none left" are the worst, it takes ages to load in new images so I always skip those. If you skip too many too fast, Google makes you enter some sentence text, so you actually have to do a captcha to get a new captcha. Right now the other version "click all the squares that contain x" are broken, no matter how many I fill and how correct I am, it always says it's incorrect and makes me do another one. I think my biggest issue here, though, is that I'm clicking on 5 different street sign images for 0 cents. Basically training Google's AI image recognition for free, and that really bothers me.
