That's usually how it goes with sequels, especially ones to highly popular series. Though I will admit I didn't care that much for the later seasons of That 70s Show. Had a lot of the same problems Friends did.

 

And not that its any consolation, but at least you're not alone in the adult acne department.

In tv production circles they call the point where a show kind of went bad the "Fonzie Jumped the Shark episode"

 

I don't think it's just any one episode you can point to where the quality went down, like in The Simpsons or Supernatural, it was just a gradual decline due to going on for too long.

Thank you wonderful forum dwelling friends, I'm not sure why today was the day that broke Bird's spirit, but I'm weirdly ok with the fact I cried in a Target. If you haven't cried in a Target, you should try it you guys.

 

I feel like it would've been better if they just put "the PoV guy dies" as the prologue, and then went to chapter 1 from there.

 

I'm pretty sure Harlan Ellison still uses an old school typewriter because he's afraid of the inevitable AI uprising that's going to be spearheaded by Amazon after they acquire Google and Facebook.

It is good,but that's me watching it 15 years later after it came out. lol.
I think at the time it was made that the 80s were not considered nostalgic as the 70s.
I am sure if it was made now it be a huge hit. The Americans is set in the 1980s and is a huge ratings winner.
Also right now would be a great time for a that 90's show. IMHO.

Also, I hear r/SkincareAddiction/ is a good place to learn about skin care. I'm just about to start a regimen from there myself, but a good amount of people swear by it.

 

I notice all great shows usually run out of steam after about 5 seasons.
Three examples of shows I loved that lost it at the end.
