I thought it was funny. I could come up with some convoluted story about how the Hub is represented by the old man, embracing you even when you don't want to be... :emoji_thinking:

I'd say the water represents Saj. The younger guy represents the rest of TH. The old man is the mods. And then there's a fat old lady in the background without a head who represents the lurkers just waiting to chime in, but can't be bothered to get off their lawnchair.

Aww, yeah! That was a strangely good game, for being licensed and all. I played the SNES version a bunch, practically identical. The NES Spot game was like a Reversi-like board game, really fun as well.

Ahh, snap. My one buddy was in the same situation, 'cept it was his dad. Pretty sweet, it got updated like every month or so, IIRC.

I still have it somewhere too. It was great. Ha I miss the simplicity and style of those old games some times. The nostalgia just got strong in here!

The reason those games were so good is that they invented a fun mechanic and just built a whole game around it. That's why Portal was successful. You use portals to solve puzzles, then the second game they added the paint. It's all just simple stuff. Valve is actually kinda good at that type of stuff, since Half-Life 2 had the Gravity Gun.

This is probably just my opinion but sometimes modern games to me just don't feel like there is much engaging content. Sometimes it feels like there is more cutscenes than there is playing time. I get they are trying to set up a story and all but I remember Zelda always having a great story all the while still being engaged in actually playing not just watching.
