I was about to reply to someone but saw this gif and it's perfect for us this weekend.

 

Present company excluded of course but I sooo want to do a documentary and film all the people that abuse Handicap placard and tags. I can sit in the car waiting for my gf to shop and see people parking in handicap parking and just jump out and go in the store. I could get a handicapped Placard and my doctor even asked me but I just use a cane when mine flares up

 

Tuesday movies are always $5 here.

 

The hard part is that some people have non obvious handicaps. Although I know that people abuse it.

 

Wait till you have an SO and movie night is part of date night. We don't go to the movies a lot but when we do, I 100% smuggle Sour Watermelons in my bag. And sometimes booze.

I mean, WE WOULD NEVER SNEAK WINE INTO A MOVIE THEATER! DON'T DO THAT!

Matt will still fuss over how expensive the movies are about 20 times that day. Because, he likes to whine about money.

 

I would of course give them the benefit of the doubt and ask but the majority will say they have it because of a relative but it is WAY against the law to park in Handicap parking if the person for which the placard is for is not in the car

 

4 ft tall, walks funny, uses scooter. seems pretty damn obvious i would guess. altho they're given out for a variety of reasons and in some cases like @Rocknrolla it is a flare up or things that happen at random like my blackouts

 

Wow. That must suck. I mean if I get a blackout I know what I did to get one.

 

My mom really needs to park in handicap parking and so often we are left without a space at all and I know that 70% of those occupying the spaces shouldnt be

 

To take saturday off or not, that is the question

 

I only ever used mine in college because there were days that it was not going to be possible for me to walk from commuter parking to class without passing out in the middle of campus. Had a service dog with me, still got dirty looks from people.

Ya sure, the girl with the service dog and medical tape all over her from assorted ports and patches is clearly abusing the system.

Now I just use Matt as my slave, er, helpful friend who carries me when I suddenly get sketchy.

 

I have Panic Disorder that is so bad, blackouts and the like, that I can't even get a drivers license. Plus the drugs I'm on for it are pretty hard core
