SO If I have a PC and a Mac and then a Plex mac it would be $12 even if I have 6TB on the PLex Mac?

 

It is per a device. So if you back everything up to your plex server and back up your plex server to backblaze it will only be one device as far as backblaze is aware or cares.

 

I want it to be automatic though. I dont want to have to backup to another device. I just want straight backups on all

 

You could automate it with something like Syncthing or just pay the extra per device fee.

I think that mine took 4 months but once you are backed up the new files don't take that long and you stay caught up fairly easily.

 

What was your upload. I have 12.5 Mbps

 

My upload is around the same but I throttled my backblaze upload so that general internet use wasn't killed. It would have taken a lot less time if I allowed it to go balls to the walls or if I had a faster internet connection.

 

@Randomacts - I wonder if there are any legal implications of bootleg vid files as I have not change the initial names of a lot of the files

Yeah everything is encrypted. They can't see the stuff nor do they want to.

 

Too bad PLEX Cloud does not work with them
