I was just gonna say. Unit number bonuses are ONLY for condos and apartments. Duplexes with numbers and letters don't count.

I live in a duplex and the unit number goes after the address.... 1234 Slothber Row, #2, Slothcago, SB, 65165.

 

Unless you mistyped this.. I think you're wrong, probably completing them incorrectly, and throwing away money.

There are absolutely duplexes in existence that require unit #s. There are listings classified as "apartments" that do not.

But alrighty.

Not that it matters at my place, because the Post Office just puts all the mail in whichever box they feel like...or leaves the mail on the porch in a pile... I give them 9/10 for customer service.

 

Totally relate to this! We get a new mailman every couple of months or so, i guess we're on a crappy route or something, but it's always fun watching them stand in front of the house for a solid minute looking between the two mailboxes... only to put the mail in the wrong one

 

I understand there are duplexes that require unit numbers. It states specifically in the instructions that those are to be included in the address line.

But maybe I am wrong You are the one who checks them so I would have to concede to you on this one.
