    Well, Matt is well known because the airport he restored his first cub at/has a hangar at is 10 minutes away. They literally have newspaper clippings up of him there, he's the pride and joy of the av community there. We will be across the street from an old pilot we know who vouched for us being decent folks. That being said, I'm the outsider who does not come from a good family and grew up in a dreaded Yankee state. So, that's already getting weird for me. Everyone wants to invite us to dinner, I assume 60% to scope me out. People have my number who I've never met and never given it to. Yay.

    I did recently laugh my ass off to see a framed picture of Matt in this small town airport. They think he's just the best and every time someone tells me that, I always say something like, " Eh, he's just ok." or "Yeah, he's pretty great I guess, but can someone teach him to boil pasta on his own?" Matt's mom constantly tells me that I shouldn't make jokes like that and should just nod along when people tell me how Matt is basically plane Jesus.

    Nah, I'll keep making sarcastic jokes.
