I currently have TWC at 30mbps

 

Well if they are all going at the same time that could be an issue but really sounds like shitty service. Do a speed test sometime and see if you're actually getting 30mbps. New equipment could help, esp if what you have now is older. Motorola Surfboard Docsis 3 is a pretty straight up well working standard for the modem. Routers are a crap shoot and you'll get 100 recommendations lol.

 

I will run a speed test when I get home and check it out.

 

The new plan is 50mbps and the rest rest is just marketing fluff.

Personally I'm a heavy internet user so I wouldn't be happy with less then 100mbps/person (my brother and I have a 240mbps connection) but I know most people don't need that much bandwidth.

Routers aren't a crapshoot if you are willing to get the $100 range of stuff.

 

You can change the sounds and I highly recommend it. Otherwise after a few days you'll be telling strangers with presents to fuck right off every time it plays.

 

My ultimate goal is to speed up my productivity at home. I know I also need to get a new laptop eventually but I have to work towards the dunds for that so I am looking at anything else I can do to speed things up.

 

Love my speed at work, just wish I could get this fast at home.

Okay... So I see a place to change some sounds... Like based on pay and such, but all say "no file"
But I am not quite sure on how to change the sound on an individual HIT.
Can you point me in the general direction for that?

Very few people have the need or even the equipment for a 100mpbs lol. Of course they all clamor for gig service because they don't realize just how little of that they would actually use.

As for the routers that's probably true but i'm a cheapskate with them because they never seem to last more than a year.

 

I am a double master, they gave me masters last round while I already had it for a few years. Which goes to show how much they just pick names out of a hat.

You can't change it by individual hit just by amount of the hit. You have to have the sounds on your computer. Just click on the file button and point to it. You can use mp3 or wave and probably other formats. Just get short but attention grabbing ones.

 

I'd hump Donald Trump's left leg on the Mexican border for masters.

 

I usually just mute it and keep the desktop notifications. The sounds are really jarring to me.

Edit: You can mute individual HITs.

 

Ah I took 15 days off and just can't will myself to look at any surveys. Or anything else for that matter.
