    I never actually wrote down any of my fanfiction, but I did have some truly amazing ninja OC stories written back in middle and early high school hiding in my closet somewhere. My school librarian knew me well enough to actually pick out books I'd like. She got me into stuff like Game of Thrones. Never played CoD, but I still play TF2 if that counts.

    Can't forget the blatant pandering to people with little to no skill. Why bother rewarding people who put effort into getting good at something when you can just lower the overall skill ceiling of your game instead?

    Plenty of good shit has come out in the game industry that blows both of those games out of the water. The thing is that people keep going back to those for the same reason that people keep buying sports games and expecting them to be worth $5/60.
