    Honestly, I think the Pentium was choking my memory, former bus was 800, now 1333, no more lags on Chrome, pages load instantly now.

    I mean that could be true. It just is funny for anyone to call a CPU from almost a decade ago fast. I'm sure that it is plenty fast for turking but :dunno:

    I mean you can pick up old surplus sandybridge workstations for basically nothing these days so I just hope that you got a good deal on it.

    $10 for the e8400 six months ago, $13 for the e8500. If you'll remember when I did all this, it was to keep as many parts as possible without spending new money on it. And yes, this is more than enough for Turking, lowered the electric bill, and the gaming/edit tower only goes on for music/video production or any emulated games. I have a PS3/PS4 for gaming, which still draws less power than the big tower. I go back to the pro-wrestling adage: it's not how much you make, it's how much you save. :)

    Although the drive isn't on 100% sale right now (it sometimes goes all the way down to $160) it would solve that pesky 'running out of space' problem lol.

    You can also rip the HDD out of the case and put it inside of your computer if you have a desktop. That is what I did with my at least lol.
