Yep. About 8 inches. At least it was snow and not sleet. Usually we get more ice than snow. Pretty but a pain in the butt to walk a dog in and the dog's pissed off that she only has a six foot area that's clear instead of the entire yard.

I have about 20 Noah Robbin's expiring 8 minutes from now if you want to throw on a PANDA.

I'd torture my brain for a bit longer if the timer was as willing.

Nah, I just don't think they're worth it for a dollar. Let someone else have fun with 'em.

Yeah, these are more mentally demanding than the ones I did on the 4th, and those were $1.50.

Not at all. It's best to have some music in background to jam to and just go ham.

Thank you for taking the bullet. 12 underpaid minutes is slightly better than the 20 they said it would be.

Alrighty.. so from here on out Live Thread Update should disable itself if you're on a thread that has had no posts for 8 hours. This will, hopefully, prevent the issue we're having now where a # of users are still "live updating" threads from days/weeks ago.

I'm not entirely sold that this is the entire issue the forum has been having today, because every day this week we've set traffic records (except today since Sat/Sun are slower). Something else is definitely up, but nonetheless this is a change that should have been made and might help alleviate the problem so I'm going with it.

I will also likely be pulling the server down for several hours later tonight (probably 11PM/midnight EST) to do some maintenance and dig into logs and stuff while its not a 'live' environment. If nothing else, I'm glad this happened on a day that is generally slow, but I'm also super far over my head and - honestly - I have no freaking clue what the root cause is nevermind a ballpark idea for a solution. Seems super odd this issue would crop up on the slowest day traffic wise in over a week though :dunno:
