all i have are the My Little Pony mane 6 and Toothless from build a bear. a random 3 ft long snake. 2 hockey bears, and a christmas dog as old as me.

Why do you get depressed when watching them? Because you are witnessing botched surgeries?

Are there really surgeries being posted of people being severely harmed on these CSATS? If so, that is scary and seriously disturbing

i'm fairly sure those are the insides of some folks, and i've seen some pretty nasty poking, cutting, stitching, camera spinning......

 

It's not people usually though, test pigs. Which, depending how you feel about it could be just as bad. But, that's a standard way for folks to practice in med school and early residency.

 

Sigh... Yeah I've been searching on Google/looking around about the safety of surgery for awhile now since I think it's the only way to really repair a knee problem I have. Are these like novice surgeons we're seeing, students, etc? I'm guessing we're rating students or something

 

No. CSATs is a company who people go to to get judged on their work. I'm almost positive (from someone I know who went through med school) that ones in an actual scholastic setting are the ones performed with toys or on animals.

I've seen some bad shit that I sat down and seriously wrote some notes on that it was bad enough... Those ones scare me as it makes me worried about having that guy work on me in the future or anyone tbh

This is why there are years of med school, internship, residency, fellowships until people are allowed to be in charge/ solo and even then there are oversights. And when they learn new techniques they have test dummies and pigs and work with other docs and such. So no worries friend, you won't get butchered. Most of these gnarly c sats are students and interns learning.
