Yeah the light pollution from all the fires might ruin the star gazing for awhile.

 

i live right next to idaho, and the county next to mine has declared a state of emergency 3 weeks in advance just because of the tourists. They're telling us to stock up on groceries, gas, water, and expect internet and phone to be down. The infrastructure of our tiny towns can't take it. I'm really thinking about listing my apartment on airbnb for a ridiculous rate since I'll be in salt lake that weekend anyways.
