TO says there's 20 minutes of unpaid training involved too, lots of the reviews are saying the videos are often blurry.

 

It's common with most all forums. You have the members who are indifferent. You have the ones who form a clique and then they start banning people they don't like or with whom they disagree. Normally these cliques are comprised of the admin/mods. Most of the time they will psychologically validate each other as their forum slowly dies out or becomes a closed group of only a certain type of people. It's all relative to certain psychological factors I've observed in many forums.. It's group think and tribal mentality. I'm of the opinion though that it is their forum and they are the ones paying the server fees. In reality if I decided to start a forum I would probably exhibit similar qualities as the people I have observed. It's human nature to form biases but in general I believe Chris is pretty grey, maybe a little too grey, with a certain leaning to one side... but grey none the less. You also have to consider these turking forums are primarily for work and as an admin you must to some degree attempt to keep up respectable appearances. Saj may have been slightly unstable, not that I would be one to judge some one... especially when they are no longer here to respond... or he could have had a tiff with Chris in pm's to which I am not privy therefore I can not ascertain the true nature of the situation. In any event it's none of my business.

 

I found this forum because someone was banned from it and was complaining about it on r/mturk on reddit. And they were asking for recommendations for alternatives.

I did a voice-recording thing recently for Appen, and they paid me on Skrill (Moneybookers)... now I have little clue how to spend that money and I really don't know Skrill enough to trust them with my back account. Looks like it's all casinos that like accepting the payments.

Guess I'll just be holding onto the money for a little while.

 

I would do more of these if they allowed more than one HIT to be completed per day.

 

I've seen him around on the older forums. He could just get a new IP, alter his entire personality, create a new profile and change his speech/writing patterns to throw off the trail.
