I've never even been to a dentist. I think the worst part is that we could definitely afford doctor visits and basic eye/dental care, but the general mindset around here is "don't bother unless you're really really sick, because doctors are expensive."

 

Yeah that is shitty parenting imho.

Yeah, Turking is nice for those of us with illnesses. Doesn't take a ton of energy, can work around a part-time job. It's perfect.

 

It gives us disabled purpose, plus disability checks are shit.

You must: Be a U.S. citizen or nationalized to be a Reserve or National Guard officer. To enlist, you must be a U.S. citizen or a resident alien. Age requirements differ between branches of service, but in general you must be between the ages of 17-42 with no prior service (NPS).

 

I didn't realize my parents were awful people until well after I was an adult. I still love them though.

A lot of that depends on what they use to put you out. When the plastic surgeon did the muscle and skin grafts on my leg they gave me ketamine. They warned me to make sure I was thinking of something pleasant as I went out because it caused vivid dreams. I swear when I woke up there were these really cool psychedelic shapes dancing on the wall

 

It's just grandstanding carried out via Twitter or whatever. I haven't been closely following the issue because I don't really care enough, but it definitely won't come to nukes.

 

I'm the same way but north korea just said their missiles are on standby and they will fight any war the US wants, and the don just said that if they make one more threat they're going to regret it immediately. There's some live statement about to be made.
